The Department of Social and Human Sciences of the Miguel Hernández University is committed to a training perspective and professional recognition at an international level. Therefore, this action is tailored to meet the demands of the professional field of communication and cinema that promotes working relationships between students, trainers and professionals from different countries for the Degrees in Audiovisual Communication and Double Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism of Miguel Hernández University.
ISFP is an itinerant project that involves the shooting of a short film made by a group of students from foreign universities. Filming takes place every year at a different university. In the 2020 edition, Plymouth College of Arts (United Kingdom) will host and organize the activity. These shootings are complemented by specialized workshops given by referents of the cinematographic or television field of the host country, as well as other cultural and training activities linked to the field of communication. The working language will be English for the 2020 edition.
In the 2020 edition, the project is carried out by the Miguel Hernández University (UMH, Spain), the Plymouth College of Arts (United Kingdom) and the University of las Californias Internacional, (UDCI, Mexico).
Summary:
- Filmmaking of a short fiction film or documentary.
- A team of 12-15 students from different universities. Each component will have a specific role between: direction, script, production, sound, lighting, camera 1, camera 2, editing, postproduction, media coverage, promotion and dissemination-advertising campaign.
- The theme of work will be free -excluding works that threaten morality, promote violence, sexism or racism-.
- Infrastructure and audiovisual equipment of the Plymouth College of Arts.
- Workshops and other complementary cultural and training activities.
- Final viewing of the short film with the assistance of a jury that will constructively assess the work.

El Departamento de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas de la Universidad Miguel Hernández apuesta por una perspectiva de formación y reconocimiento profesional a nivel internacional. Por ello, se plantea esta acción adaptada a las exigencias del ámbito profesional de la comunicación y el cine que fomente las relaciones de trabajo entre estudiantes, formadores y profesionales de distintos países para los Grados en Comunicación Audiovisual y Doble Grado en Comunicación Audiovisual y Periodismo de la Universidad Miguel Hernández.
ISFP es un proyecto itinerante que consiste en el rodaje de un cortometraje realizado en grupo por estudiantes de universidades extranjeras. Los rodajes se llevan a cabo cada año en una universidad diferente. En la edición 2020, Plymouth College of Arts (Reino Unido) será la anfitriona y organizadora de las actividades. Estos rodajes se complementan con talleres especializados impartidos por referentes del ámbito cinematográfico o televisivo del país anfitrión, así como otras actividades culturales y formativas vinculadas al ámbito de la comunicación. El idioma de trabajo será el inglés para la edición de 2020.
En la edición 2020 el proyecto lo realizan la Universidad Miguel Hernández (UMH, España), la Plymouth College of Arts (Reino Unido) y la Universidad de las Californias Internacional, (UDCI, México).
Resumen:
- Realización de corto de ficción o documental.
- Un equipo de 12-15 estudiantes de diferentes universidades. Cada componente tendrá un rol específico entre: dirección, guion, producción, sonido, iluminación, cámara 1, cámara 2, edición y montaje, posproducción, cobertura medios, promoción y difusión-campaña publicitaria.
- La temática del trabajo será libre -excluyendo los trabajos que atenten contra la moral, fomenten la violencia, machismo, sexismo o racismo-.
- Infraestructuras y equipos audiovisuales de la Plymouth College of Arts.
- Workshops y otras actividades culturales y formativas complementarias.
- Visionado final del cortometraje con la asistencia de un jurado que valorará constructivamente el trabajo.
